Selection Standards

Overview

Welcome to the Selection Standards page for the US Team of CIOR military fitness competitions. Our team competes in rigorous military skills competitions, and we have established strict fitness and skill standards to ensure we are represented by the best. Below are the standards for various events and tryouts.

Fitness Standards

Land Obstacles

  • Distance: 500 meters
  • A soldier navigating through a series of land obstacles, such as walls, ropes, and barriers. The background includes a training course with various physical challenges under a clear sky. The soldier is mid-action, demonstrating agility and strength.

Orienteering/Land Navigation

  • Distance: 10-15 kilometers

Tryout Standards

Men’s Standards

  • 800m Run: 2:30
  • 5-mile Run: 32:00
  • 50m Swim: 0:35

Women’s Standards

  • 800m Run: 3:00
  • 5-mile Run: 37:30
  • 50m Swim: 0:40

Marksmanship Standards

Rifle Marksmanship

  • Distance: 200 meters

Pistol Marksmanship

Water Obstacles
